Raglanpedia is part of the Raglan District History Project funded in 2012-2013 through two sources: Villages Alive Trust, "Sense of Roots" and Heritage Lottery Fund "All our Stories".

The name Raglanpedia was inspired by the Monmouthpedia project in 2012. Our mission is to bring local history alive for Village Children and Residents and to support our village businesses by encouraging more tourism to our village.

Through this project we hope to celebrate and strengthen our Community Spirit

The Raglan and Local District Local History Group was initiated in 1955. Our mission is to encourage and support local history. We accomplish this through a series of Winter Lectures, Summer outings to historic sites and the Annual Horatia Durrant Essay contest for Raglan VC Primary School. In 2005, the Raglan Local Archives was established in order to store and share local Raglan District Historical Documents for research on our local history

The Raglan Past and Present book, published in 2010, was funded by the Raglan/Parce Twinning Association. This book is available for sale in the Raglan Post Office
